From downward dog to deep devotion, from personal transformation to a professional private practice, join our Yoga Teacher Certification Training and learn the skillful actions necessary to live a happy, balanced life and how to communicate those skills to others.

A One-of-a-Kind Certification
This is the first and only certification in the country with a specialty in Women's Health and Wellness.

Transform Yourself and Support the Transformation of Others
Immerse yourself in a Certification program that is an elegant fusion of Eastern and Western approaches.  At the Dharmic Institute, we honor Yoga's spiritual roots and embrace Yoga's powerful influence on Western health and healing.

In this program, you will learn how to practice a Yogic lifestyle that leads to personal transformation.  You will learn to integrate inner knowing, Yoga philosophy & techniques, scientific understanding and communication skills to support the transformation of others.

Yoga Postures and Beyond . . .

Whether your goal is leading group classes for seniors, offering private meditation sessions for cardiac patients or providing yogic lifestyle counseling for women, you will be infused with the authentic ability and professional expertise to share yoga as a path of balance in any education, health, medical or yoga studio setting.

Among our graduates are nurses, writers, personal fitness trainers and therapists who have integrated yoga into their professional and personal lives.

Our graduates are also:

·         leading group classes in hospitals, community centers and yoga studios.

·         offering in-home private yoga & meditation sessions.

·         teaching special needs yoga classes (i.e., prenatal, seniors, children).

·         promoting yoga by owning a studio.

One Style Does Not Fit All

We do not advocate one "style" for all people. Our intention is to provide you with the educational foundation and practical experience in both the Eastern and Western traditions whereby you develop a creative approach to meeting the needs of the individual that reflects your understanding of anatomy, physiology, yogic philosophy and techniques and yoga postures.

"The key for me is that each body is not the same and the same pose looks different. I believe I have come close to knowing myself and trusting in the inner knowing."
Katie, Yoga Instructor

You will also  be nationally registered by the Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) at the 200 hour level.

Application Process

Registration into the Dharmic Yoga Teacher Certification Program is by invitation only. Since we respect and honor the inner wisdom and life experience of each individual, admission is not based upon past achievements or academic success.

Admission to the program is based upon three key factors to be discussed during an interview with Adrienne.

·         Dharma: What action are you being called to take at this time in your life?

·         Commitment: How will you design your life during this intensive program to provide the space, time and energy needed to successfully fulfill your commitments to Self, to family, to community and to your transformational process?

·         Personal Authority: Do you desire to develop an instructional style based upon personal authority? The Dharmic Yoga Teacher Certification Training explores an orientation toward Hatha Yoga based upon an understanding of human anatomy.  While we respect all yogic traditions, we do not advocate one "style" for all people.  The core of our training is to provide the educational foundation and practical experience in both the Eastern and Western traditions whereby you develop your own authentic teaching style.  A personal teaching style grounded in safety, based upon the needs of the individual and reflecting your understanding of the human body, yogic philosophy and yoga techniques.
